Posted by cruise.ships.jobs in May 12, 2009, under Uncategorized
The sixty-seven foot custom cruise ship which offers comfort and luxury with its warm interior and a tough steel hull for the icy waters is cruising its 2009 season with early bird specials, discounts and shorter cruises to invite guests for a cruise on Alaska’s inside passage that offers an adventure on Alaska’s wilderness, tidewater glaciers, wide sea lanes with unmanned islands, and cascading waterfalls. Who says wilderness and luxury can’t come in one package?
Built by Hansen Boats in 1986, the M.V. Sikumi is fit for all seasons and sea condition as it is needed for an Alaskan cruise to have a rugged and tough ship. Powered by twin vessel engines with two generator sets, the vessel provides comfortable and spacious living of a traditional cruise ship. 8 to 12 guests can be accommodated with the ship’s four staterooms.
Sikumi is cutting prices for all cruise packages from 15 to 40% to make it more affordable to people. Unparalleled access and maneuverability are a few benefits offered by small ships in comparison with larger ships to provide a much more personal experience. The ship is able to access special places that are not visited by larger cruise ships.
Guests are also given the options for hiking, wildlife viewing, kayaking or simply relax on board, make friends with other guests and also other cruise crews.
With the current economic problems today and maybe the future, the Sikumi ship is making a luxurious cruise to the wilderness accessible to those who wishes to take a vacation.
